Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark

CBS’ “60 Minutes” will air the first in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark Nov. 28.

That same evening the eagerly awaited musical begins previews at the Foxwoods Theatre.

The “60 Minutes” piece, according to press notes, is the product of nearly two years worth of “exclusive access into the creative and rehearsal processes of the biggest musical production in Broadway history. For the piece, correspondent Lesley Stahl interviewed composers Bono and The Edge and director and co-book writer Julie Taymor, among others associated with the production. The story will also feature never-before-seen footage of the actual show.”

“60 Minutes” airs Sundays at 7 PM ET on CBS; check local listings.

Here is a preview of the show.

  1. I heard a lot about this show. One thing I heard is how expensive it is. Other than that I know very little about what this show is about. I’ma have to catch the 60 minutes piece online since I am too busy to watch it tonight.

  2. What is with all the bad stuff happening with this show? I saw some clips of it and it look okay. I thought a saw an image of the black costume somewhere, but jeez louise everytime I hear about this show it is something bad either and actor getting hurt something.
