Batkid, also known as mild-mannered Miles Scott, spent the day running around San Francisco fighting crime thanks to volunteers from the Make-A-Wish foundation that included help from the mayor, police, and local politicians.
During his day of fighting crime Batkid managed to save a damsel -in-distress, stop The Riddler from robbing a bank, and rescued the San Francico Giants’ beloved mascot Lou Seal from the clutches of the evil Penguin

Superman 75th Anniversary Animated Short
From the creative minds of Zack Snyder (Man of Steel) and Bruce Timm (Superman: The Animated Series) and produced by Warner Bros. Animation, this short follows Superman through the years, from his first appearance on the cover of Action Comics #1 to Henry Cavill in this year’s Man of Steel…all in two minutes
The talented folks over at RobotUnderDog have just released the first episode in a fan made adaption of the Ultimate Comics Spider-Man.
Who is Miles Morales? is the opening chapter to director Wes Armstrong’s Ultimate Spider-Man fan film. Playing the role of Miles Morales was Devin White, who did a great job, in my opinion of playing Spidey.
According to the video description, “Part 1 of our Miles Morales live action series – This is a brief introduction to Miles and a preview of the new powers he will have as Spiderman. Coming episodes will show how he transitions into being Spiderman and of course will feature some of the villains he will have to face.
RobotUnderDog is actually trying to raise enough funds to further develop the project into an ongoing webseries and all those interested in helping them out can donate funds here.
Thanks to my good friend ChocolateMatters for the heads up.

All I can say is…..WOW!
Henry Cavill, the star of Showtime’s The Tudors, has been cast as iconic superhero Superman in a film to be directed by Zack Snyder, Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures confirmed in a statement Jan. 30.
“In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time, and I am honored to be a part of his return to the big screen,” Snyder said. “I also join Warner Bros., Legendary and the producers in saying how excited we are about the casting of Henry. He is the perfect choice to don the cape and ‘S’ shield.”
Cavill will be seen later this year playing Greek warrior Theseus in director Tarsem Singh’s action picture Immortals, and opposite Bruce Willis and Sigourney Weaver in the thriller The Cold Light of Day.
The 27-year-old actor was reportedly on the shortlist for Superman Returns when McG was to direct it, but when Bryan Singer took over the project he went with Brandon Routh instead.
