Michael Joseph Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009)

May 16th, 1983 (Motown 25) That day changed my life forever. As a teenager I was teased and mocked for idolizing him.

I didn’t care then and I could care less now. Thank you Michael Jackson for showing me what excellence was and still is.

I think the changes on this official Warner Bros. The Dark Knight site speaks volumes.

HEATH LEDGER

HEATH LEDGER  (1979-2008)

Hollywood actor Heath Ledger has been found dead at a downtown Manhattan residence, a New York Police Department spokesman has said.

“He was found unconscious at the apartment and pronounced dead,” a police spokeswoman said.

Ledger had finished filming his role as the Joker this year in "The Dark Knight," a sequel to 2005’s "Batman Begins."

A great actor in the prime of his career. I was completely shocked by this news. Heath was a brilliant, talented and respected actor and out of all the performances in the movies this year, his was the one I was most looking forward to seeing.

On Eddie Robinson:

I never knew Coach Robinson. I knew of him, I was aware of his many accomplishments and how he was a great Coach. To me, to be a great Coach is a great teacher and then some. Relationships between players and Coaches are much more than those of your average teacher. Eddie Robinson, from all I’ve ever heard and seen was one of very few men who "walk the talk", he led by example and set an example for a great many young men. He did it with hard work, honesty and humility.
